Market Music in May

We've started the season off with an awesome band called The Wildwood Social Club.  Sharing a mix of original songs with a "world music" feel, we enjoyed up-beat positive tunes that got people in a great mood, up on the dance floor and even drew a gaggle of kids over to the stage who couldn't stop dancing!  If you missed them, keep your eye out for our music updates in the months to come as we're hoping to have them on our stage again this season.

On Saturday May 7, 2016 Scout Mountain will be joining us, providing their awesome bluegrass music that draws the crowd in and keeps them entertained.  Circling one mic in true blue grass style, Scout Mountain will be promoting their latest CD called "A Buck a Tune".  You get 20 of their incredible songs for only $20.  CD's will be on sale May 7th but we'll also have a number of copies available for sale during the year.



On Saturday May 14th, 2016 George & Colleen will be the kicking off the market with 30+ minutes of their bluegrass music.  These two have been a staple at the market when they're not off on tour spreading their music and joy throughout BC and Canada.  They took the stage once already this past Sunday and were joined by Frank & Jim as well.




On Saturday May 21st, 2016 Jervis Outlet will be opening the market with 30+ minutes of music.  These guys are regulars to our Sunday Open Mic and play a selection of country and rock & roll favourites.  Jervis Outlet is led by singer/guitarist Len and features Jim on bass, Don on mandolin and Tim on harmonica.
